Your responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of software and automation projects with a special focus on DevOps aspects of software development
- Identification of optimization potentials in our IT infrastructure by using appropriate tools and approaches
- Conceptual design and implementation of improvements and of new as well as existing software components, in close cooperation with the business department or the affected development areas, respectively
- Analysis and improvement of existing components in our development process with regard to functional and non-functional limitations
- Technical management of complex software projects, including the coordination of other developers and technical contacts
- Participation in the development of technology strategies in close cooperation with the CTO and involved software development areas
Your profile
- Completed IT studies or training as an IT specialist and relevant professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in system administration and/or software development
- Good command of English (oral and written)
- Ability to work in a results-oriented and structured manner and in a team
- High degree of service-oriented thinking and acting
- Creative thinking, Innovativeness & willingness to tackle new topics and constantly learn new things
Knowledge in the following technical areas:
- Cloud, Container and Serverless Computing environments. Google Cloud preferred.
- IT automation techniques (Terraform, Ansible).
- Good understanding of Agile software development
- Linux Server
- Use of virtualization technologies
- Good scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Good understanding of the structure of KPI measurements
- Network technology
(Nice to have) expertise in:
- Information Security Management
- Availability & IT Service Continuity Management
- Capacity Management
- Event & Alert Management
- Incident & Ch.ange Management
- Release, Configuration & Patch Management
